Overview of Stanford Digital Forum

2020 Workplace Network members will have a rare opportunity to visit the Stanford campus in Palo Alto and learn about the diverse innovations in digital instruction and learning being led by the Stanford Digital Learning Forum. Todd Logan, Executive Director, will share insight regarding their work in flipped classrooms and new paradigms in blended learning including MOOCs. It was in fact at Stanford in the fall of 2011 that one of the first MOOCs was offered - "Introduction Into AI”, taught by Sebastian Thrun and Peter Norvig. Following the session, members will be given a behind-the-scenes tour of a MOOC production studio with time for Q&A about how the teams design and create this content at Stanford.

Bus departs from the Grand Hotel at 7:30 am. Bus will depart from Stanford at 11:30, and will drop attendees off at the SFO airport.
